Final debate for Fall River mayoral recall election – ABC6 – Providence, RI and New Bedford, MA News, Weather

All eight candidates were selling their vision for the future of the city. The runners are: Bristol County District Attorney Sam Sutter, City Councilor Michael Miozza, current Mayor Will Flanagan, Ordained Minister Paul Anderson, Ron Cabral, former City Councilor David Dennis, Louis Alves Melim and Seekonk Town Manager Shawn Cadime. The two-hour debate got lively at times. The audience was supposed to hold applause until the end, but members snuck in cheers and remarks from time to time until the moderator cut them off. ABC6 caught up with some local voters, who said hearing the candidates’ remarks solidified their voting choice. We need to have a voice heard, no matter who we vote for, to move the city in the direction we want to go in, said David Shouinard.
